This Privacy Policy explains how Unne Team (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Unne mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed in connection with your use of the App, including when you create an account, edit images, contact support, or enable optional permissions (such as Location or Photos).

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Information you provide: name, username, email address; customer support messages and attachments; watermark text and configuration choices.
  • Photos and related media: images you select for editing and basic file metadata (such as file type and size).
  • Location (only if you allow it): precise or approximate location depending on your permission.
  • Automatically collected: device information, usage analytics, crash logs and diagnostics.
  • Cookies (if the App uses embedded web content): cookies or similar technologies (possibly including web beacons) for login, preferences, and security.
Processing and storage note. The App is designed to store your edits and history locally on your device by default. If you choose to upload images and/or text for processing on our own servers, we process that content only to provide the requested feature, do not share it with third parties, and delete it immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as technically feasible). You control whether you upload content.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the App and its features (watermarks, preview, history, and account services).
  • Personalize your experience (saving preferences and settings).
  • Improve the App (analytics, troubleshooting, quality, and performance).
  • Security, fraud prevention, and protecting rights and safety.
  • Customer support and communication.
  • Compliance with legal obligations and enforcement of our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

4) How We Disclose Information

  • With your consent: when you direct us to share (for example, exporting/sharing through your device).
  • Service providers: trusted vendors acting as processors under contract, only for our instructions and on a minimum-necessary basis.
  • Legal requirements: to comply with law, legal process, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to safeguards.

5) Photos, Face Data, and Biometrics

  • We do not perform facial recognition and do not collect biometric identifiers for identification purposes.
  • We do not create face templates and do not infer sensitive biometric attributes.
  • Photo processing is performed only to provide the editing functionality you request.
  • Photos used for one-time generation can be deleted immediately after the result is produced (or as soon as technically feasible).
  • We do not use your photos to train models and do not use them for marketing without your explicit consent.

6) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

7) Security

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, encryption at rest.
  • Access controls and least-privilege policies.
  • Regular audits and monitoring.
  • Backups and disaster recovery measures.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Data Retention

  • Account information: retained for the duration of your account.
  • After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless required by law.
  • Usage analytics: retained up to 12 months.
  • Customer support: retained up to 6 months unless needed longer to resolve requests or as required by law.
  • Temporary server-side processing: deleted immediately after processing (or as soon as technically feasible).

9) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or withdraw consent.

  • You can control permissions (Photos, Location) via your device settings.
  • You can update certain account details within the App (if available).

10) Children

The App is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date when changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
